Steve Ryan

Learjet Pilot – New Jersey

When Steve Ryan was a youngster playing sandlot baseball and soccer in his hometown of Trenton. N.J., he always noticed the air traffic.  As planes cruising Northeast corridor skies passed overhead, he’d gaze at them with a genuine sense of wonder.

“I always looked up longer than anyone else,” he recalled in a recent interview. “I wanted to know where the planes were coming from, who was in them, and where they were going.” Around the same time, he found out he had an uncle who was a pilot with Delta Airlines, so he began asking him those questions. Not surprisingly, that’s when his infatuation with aviation took off.

Steve’s pilot training began during his senior year in high school as part of a co-op program at a nearby community college, then progressed to college-level instruction. He has worked exclusively in corporate and charter capacities since completing his licensing requirements through Embry-Riddle University in 2017.

In 2023, Steve found himself looking for his next full-time position and discovered JetPro Pilots. He began working with recruiter, Seth Roberts, who was able to get Steve placed in a commutable position flying a Learjet 60 with an operator based in New Jersey.

During his career, Steve learned to trust and rely on the services provided by JetPro Pilots.

“I’ve developed a great relationship with (Aviation Recruiter) Seth Roberts,” he said of his experience with JetPro. “He and the people there will always work their hardest for you.”
