Corporate Pilot – Kentucky

Mark Couch didn’t grow up around aviation. He was raised in a small farm town in Illinois, where flying felt far removed from everyday life. However, in sixth grade, he completed a special assignment that earned him a ride in a teacher’s small plane. That experience sparked an interest that would eventually turn into a career spanning more than 25 years. As Mark puts it, “That’s when I got the bug and never looked back.”

Today, Mark has flown large-cabin corporate aircraft, delivered jets and worked with flight departments across the country. Along the way, he discovered the benefits of temporary crewing, and how JetPro helps make those opportunities possible.

“What I enjoy most is the flexibility,” Mark says. “You have the ability to choose who you work with and where you work. If it’s a great fit, you build relationships. If it’s not, you have the freedom to move on.”

JetPro connects experienced pilots like Mark with flight departments that need trusted professionals ready to step in and contribute immediately. That flexibility allows pilots to expand their experience while helping operators maintain continuity and confidence in their crew.
“As a pilot working on a temporary basis, you are your own product,” Mark explains. “You step into an operation, learn how they work and add value right away.”
Through JetPro, pilots can continue building their careers while flight departments gain access to qualified professionals who understand the expectations of business aviation.

For Mark, temporary crewing has opened the door to experiences he never imagined while growing up, from flying world-class aircraft to traveling internationally and working with a wide range of flight departments.

“It allows you to find the right fit,” he says.

With JetPro, pilots and flight departments alike benefit from a trusted partner focused on making the right connections — supporting careers, strengthening operations and keeping aviation moving forward.
