This week we celebrate the history of flight and appreciate the indispensable part air travel plays in how we all work and play today.

Orville Wright and his brother, Wilbur, achieved controlled flight in a heavier-than-air aircraft at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, in 1903. National Aviation Week is celebrated annually on the anniversary of Orville Wright’s birth.
